Marta Wojtczak has graduated from the Warmia and Masuria University in Olsztyn with a Master’s degree in General Pedagogy and from the Humanities and Economics University in Elbląg with a BA degree in resocialization. She also completed post-graduate studies on Oligophrenopedagogy at Paweł Włodkowic University in Płock and post-graduate studies on Pedagogical Therapy in the University of Humanities in Gdańsk. In order to enhance her skills, she participated in numerous trainings, such as Behavior Therapy of Autistic Children, practical part of Good Start Method, Makaton: basic training on Communication Development Programme, Makaton: supplementary training on games, and Knill’s Method. She used to work as a therapist for SNOA Association in Kwidzyn, under the supervision of Ms. Monika Zielińska. She worked as a therapist during camps organized by Diagnosis and Therapy Center for Developmental Disorders for children with behavior disorders and pervasive developmental disorders. Since 2006, she has been working at Special Educational Center in Barcice, leading a team of therapists and a team of Early Childhood Development Support. She conducts individual and group classes with children suffering from mild, moderate and severe intellectual disorders as well as autism. She conducts classes on Early Childhood Development Support. Since 2009, she has been the chairwoman of an Association for Helping the Disabled, ‘Signpost for Hearts’ (Pol. ‘Drogowskaz Serc’). She works as a therapist at the center.
